DTU Management - Transport Division - Public Sector Consultancy
The Transport division deliver services and work close with the public authorities. We conduct research based public sector consultancy to the Ministry of Transport and Housing and hence supports that the political decisions within transport are based on solid evidence-based grounds.
The purpose of our research advise is to understand and predict how transport behavior is effected by different transport policies and regulations and to include this in the broader socio-economic assessment.
Our research based public sector consultancy incudes research advise within the three main transport areas: transport economics, transport safety, transport modelling.
In addition, we are responsible for The Danish National Travel Survey (TU), The Transport Economic Unit Costs for the transport area with the corresponding calculation model Teresa and the socio-economic manual.
